Provided by YP.comAt the last minute, my daughter who is attending Juilliard Precollege needed a professional to check out some problems with her flute before a solo performance. We had never been to Laconia before, but we were very pleasantly surprised at the great service we received. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful, immediately looked at the flute, and made some adjustments. We definitely recommend this store to everyone. We will be returning to buy our music-related items there.

Provided by YP.comLaconia Music is what a music store should be, friendly, well stocked and professional. My daughter has been studying violin at Laconia for the past 5 years. This year, she was accepted into Performing Arts High School (The Fame School) in NYC. I also brought her a Vintage Violin, from Laconia which was later appraised for 3 time what I paid for it. Ray, the shop's owner is a wonderful "folksy" type guy who is really dedicated to the musical education of youngsters and adults alike. Thank you ray, you've really made a positive impact on my family. Allen Shaw

Provided by YP.comAs professional musician I am very protective of my horns. I only trust my horns to the best techs in the country. Recently I was working a high end wedding at a catering hall in New Hyde Park. During set up the DJ's crew knocked over a large speaker that landed directly on my horn. I was carrying one horn and not playing this gig was not an option, We were 1 hour from the dinner and disaster was ahead. The house manager told me that there was a music store only 2 blocks away. I shook my head is discust knowing what most local music shops were like.. Off I went in hope of renting a horn for the gig. I walked in the Door of Laconia Music center told the young salesman at the counter my story . He called the owner up from the basement saying that he was the best repairman on earth. I snikered and waited for his arrival. I told the Owner Ray my story and what I needed. I showed him my wrecked horn and he said he could get it straightend out . figuring that I had nothing to loose since I believed the horn to now be scrap I decended to the basement shop to see what he could do. In 35 minutes he not only got my axe working he performed miracles. This guy isnt one of the best HE IS THE BEST. I have traveled the world playing and have been to the "ledgendary" repair techs around the country. This guys is unreal, an artist with his hands and a hammer. I wish I had before and after photos to post. The horn was restored to near perfect condition AND he corrected an issue that another tech and created He made my horn blow way way better.. I was astounded by his ability and entertained by his stories and past. Here is this GENIUS that has chosen to run a cool little store in suburbia rather than deal with the NYC rat race. You will not find a better repairman anywhere in the world.

Provided by YP.comLaconia is by far the best music rental/repair center in the business. It is a company that is large enough to handle any of your musical needs, yet still gives you the personal touch of a mom and pop store.
In addition, the owner Ray is the most qualified repair person in the country surpassing the old masters.
He is the Best of the Best. Great guy too. Don't hesitate to go there. You will never go anywhere else again.

Provided by YP.comRay and the gang run a first rate shop. The instruments I've rented for my high school band are of good quality and if one needs a repair they are right on top of it.

Provided by YP.comRay Noguera is the owner of Laconia. He is a wizard with repairs and really knows everything about instruments. He has the time and patience to chat to everyone who comes into the store. He reminds me of the chef who comes out to greet all the people who come to his restaurant.
The store has everything and the staff always knows just what you need. There are no rip-offs at this store. Everyone who wants their kids to start an instrument should first go to Laconia. There is no better store to start an instrument rental for a budding musician! I am so glad I found this store.

Provided by YP.comI found Laconia on line at Yellowpages .com . I had been searching for a rental instrument for my son. My sons school gave out a sheet with several names of stores on it .None of them even owened one of these horns. As a desperate measure I called Laconia They had 12 in stock when I arrived a t the shop I was suprised at the level of knowledge that the staff had and shocked at the high quality and low price of the rental. The store is like a magic bag ! they seem to have everything. I really have never seen anything like it!!!!
