Luke Garbarino, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Adult Reconstruction, including hip and knee arthroplasty surgery. During residency, he received awards for Resident of the Year, Research Resident of the Year, the Dr. Leslie Sgaglione Humanism Award, and Dr. Vijay Rasquinha Excellence in Orthopedics Award. He also served as the Academic Chief Resident during his final year of residency. Dr. Garbarino then received further training at the Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist Health Adult Reconstruction Fellowship program. He is an active candidate member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), serving as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty and as a member of the Fellows Orthopaedic Continued AAHKS Learning (FOCAL) committee. As a native of Long Island, Luke is excited to return home to help patients with their hip and knee needs. He practices individualized care with a focus on shared decision making with his patients.
