Provided by YP.comStayed at this motel and was very displeased with the service and the room. Made reservation for the room and upon checkin I had to wait 15 minutes for clerk because she was on the phone with a personal phone call, through hearing the conversation it was a personal bill of some sorts. Finally got checked in, I reserved a King room. When we got to the room we noticed that the phone was not working, the phone jack/wires had been ripped out of the wall. I immediately notified front desk and asked that we be moved to another room and she refused, said that they would get someone up there to fix it. Went back to the room and noticed there was no remote to the TV. Returned to the front desk and notified them. The owner was at the desk, i again asked about fixing the phone, he instructed her to move us to another room.
We get in the other room and there is no ashtray (this was a smoking room). Returned to the front desk to retrieve one. Later we discovered after showering that the towels in the room smelled sour, like they had been left wet too long. The hotel is very old, run-down. The shower tiles were not clean, very worn, dirt and grime in the corners by the tub and wall and dirty behind door in bathroom, looked like it hadent been cleaned in forever. To top it off, the next morning housekeeping comes an hour early before checkout and disturbs us asking if we are checking out that day. This was at 10am, checkout is at 11. Might I add this was a new years eve/day, so we slept in and wanted wake up call at 10:30. I will never return to this hotel again.
