No appointment is necessary. An Emergency Services Clinician is available to speak with anyone seeking assistance. Services include face-to-face or telephone crisis intervention, assessments to determine whether hospitalization is needed, and referrals to appropriate service providers. Access Services provides orientation, intake, and assessment services to mental health and substance abusing children, families and adults entering Clinical or Behavioral Health Care Services at VCSB.Consumers receive both telephone and face-to-face interviews in a structured, multi-dimensional assessment process that results in them being matched with the most appropriate services available.
