It all started in 1988 when the Brenner family opened the Woodcrest House, a 12-room assisted living residence. Originally built in 1820, the house is now listed on the National Registrar of Historic Landmarks. Initially sparked by a personal need for senior care for an elderly family member, the Brenner family decided to make it their mission to provide assisted and supportive living services in a safe and secure residential setting. It was, and still is, their most important mission to ensure that all residents be treated with dignity and respect.
