Buckhorn High School is a public school located in New Market, Ala., with an enrollment of more than 900. It is a college preparatory school, providing classes to students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, social studies, technology, science and foreign languages. It also offers a full range of advanced placement and honors classes in its various academic areas. It has various departments that include counseling, physical education, fine arts and special education. The school houses a library and media center, cafeteria, fitness center and a wide range of clubs, such as art, key, band, chorus and computer club. Buckhorn High School is a part of the Madison County School District.
