I go to Amys all time to get to get my alterations done. They give great service. I brought a pair of pants for my son to get hemed for 1 day service and they did an awesome job. I recommend them to friends and family often.

I would def give this place a negative star . They ruined my dress for my daughters wedding . A hem !! Well it was so uneven all the way around and at least 2 inches shorter on one side . The only remedy was to shorten the other side . Well that made it to short to wear the shoes which I brought and had one when she measured. The worse hem ever .. the dress was $950, I couldn't wear it . I had to but another one 2days before the wedding . They charged me $59.00 for the alteration for a hem and never gave me a refund for a horrible job . I would never recommend this place ever !!! The worse ever !!

Really poor service. I dropped my clothes off, she told me it would be a week, then when i came back a week later my clothes still were not ready. I came back 3 other times before my clothes were finally ready. She did not call to let me know my stuff was not done or anything. When I was in the store to get my clothes fitted, I was the ONLY person in there, and she did not acknowledge me. Finally when I had one piece on, she would just continue on with whatever she had been doing and make me wait for at least 5 minutes between each try-on. Something that should have taken 5 minutes total ended up taking forever. Once I finally got all my clothes back, she had ruined them. My skirts still are too big, there are threads hanging all over the place off my skirts, my shirt was done unevenly and she made it smaller than we sized. One skirt is completely ruined, she left a hole in the back and the zipper was hanging from the bottom of the skirt. She took my nice hangers and returned my clothes on plastic ones. When I asked about my hangers she didn't care and just said I can come back another time to see if she has them (Yeah right! this was already my 4th visit). She was very expensive for VERY poor work!!! Not to mention she had everyone clothes all over the floor and she was stepping all over them. DO NOT TRUST YOUR CLOTHES WITH HER.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS @ AMY'S!!!

I had the same service. I advise you to contact the BBB, warn other people about not doing business with such a bad business owner. This is my story........

Do not do business here! I brought in a dress to get hemmed and all they did was cut the bottom of the dress, unevenly at that. They charged me $15.00 ($16.31 with tax). When I went in to get my money back for the messed up job they did, they refussed to do so. She said she would actually hem it for me instead (which should have been done from the start), however this would make the dress even shorter...she claimed putting a hem in the dress wouldn't make it shorter. (Uhhh, since when?!) Poor ownership... DO NOT GO HERE.‎

Horrible experience

I brought in an expensive doctor's lab coat for embroidery and hemming. The coat is ruined. The embroidery job was careless, with lettering mistakes, and ultimately ruined the lab coat by going over the inside lining crooked.

The hemming seams are coming unsewn.

I now have a misspelled name on the coat, and cannot wear it. When I showed the empoyee (owner) the mistakes, she dismissed my concerns and acted like she didn't understand me.

I am utterly dissapointed by the unprofessionalism and poor workmanship.
