Provided by YPmobileI have been coming to Felix Restaurant for years. Best oysters in the world. And I brag about them to everyone. Well not anymore. Came to New Orleans on Friday brought friends. I was treated so Badly I will Never Go there again. I sat at the counter asked for a dozen oysters and made the comment that I would love to get some of their big oysters. The man behind the counter told me if I wanted to get big oysters I better leave a big tip and it was how he said it to me really mean. The lady I brought with me even said something to me on how he treated me. I asked for a coke for a drink never got it for me but still charged me for it. I will Never go there again.

Provided by YPmobileI ate here while visiting the 2014 Essence Music Festival. Since I have an allergy to wheat, I am limited on the selection of food in the area. I ordered the grilled shrimp, sautéed mixed veggies, and French fries. Delicious! I actually ate here twice and ordered the same thing the second time! I can honestly say that both times I was there, the customer service was lacking. However, they were super busy both times. Bottom line, good food and I would eat there again.

Provided by YPmobileI didn't have the trouble others had with the servers being rude. It did take awhile to get served, but the staff was kind enough, particularly the oyster shucker when we first walked in. The food wasn't exceptional, but we liked it well enough.

Provided by YP.comGood location, hideous decor, even worse service.
The food is okay, but when you have to put up with a bunch of surly, unhappy, rude employees who clearly do not get along with one another, who cares about the food.
The nicest and most helpful person there was a young lady named Jennifer, who is also a school teacher. She was the most accommodating person in that restaurant -- 5 stars for her.
Other than that, the oyster shuckers are rude, the tables stay dirty, and you can never find your waitress. The management staff also lacks any personable skills necessary to run a business.
As for the food, it's okay. We can get Jambalaya and Gumbo anywhere in the Quarter.
The best thing about Felix's -- ACME Oyster House is just across the street!!!
