I would travel back to New Orleans from Tennessee just to spend another evening at the Funky Pirate. The drinks are awesome! While here be sure to order yourself a Hand Grenade. It's a drink that you'll definitely never forget. If you're a music lover, make plans to visit the Funky Pirate and enjoy the sounds of Big Al Carson. He's an amazing blue singer with an amazing stage presence. His music is sure to get stuck in your head and put a smile on your face. The atmosphere at the Funky Pirate is great. When you're there, you feel like everyone's your friend. Hmmm...maybe that's the Hand Grenade. Whatever it is, it's worth making plans to spend an evening or even just a couple hours with Big Al Carson and everyone else at the Funky Pirate.
