Provided by YPmobileI started d seeing Dr. Varnado for depression, adult onset ADD I 2006. I stayed his patient until 2010. I never had any problem with his professional treatment or his staff. I moved in 2010, then moved back 2015, I called made and appt. I have more problems now. But; he has listened and discussed the issues I have now and adjusted my meds accordingly. I like him and the female doctor also. I am very glad that he accepted me as a patient. Where I had move there are no psychiatrist available within 150 mile radius.
Sincerely, Nancy Holland

Provided by YPmobileI had heard of Varnado Psyc. Services about 5 years ago from a former combat veteran who was less than open with his experiences in Vietnam. Talking his advice I went for a consultation visit. I need to preface this by saying, I had never been to, nor EVER planned on going to one even by force. To sum it up, I never felt uncomfortable or as if they thought I was crazy for one second. I was asked many questions about my mood, sleep, nerves, etcetera and was diagnosed with mild post traumatic disorder and that I was probably ADD since grade school. At the time I went to the assessment I realized, through Dr. Varnado, how really sick I was and within a month of my appointment I no longer had feelings of suicide, night terrors, depression, and stopped feeling as if I was all alone. I highly recommend he and the other healthcare professionals in there office.

Provided by YPmobileI'm a 42 year old man that went to Vernedo for mild depression. By the 2nd visit I was manic depressive,a.d.d and suicidal. This man had me on so much medication my body didn't know what to do, get up or go to sleep. A medication that is given to raving lunatics was prescribed to me. I started taking it but would forget that I took it and would take more, took to much one day and overdosed. Ended up in the emergency room having my stomach pumped. The e.r. Doctor told my family the doctor that prescribed all the medication should be reported and that I had a lawsuit on my hands. I would NOT bring him to court, he might have prescribed the meds to me but did not hold a gun to my head and make me take them. I should of reported the incident, just to help protect the innocent children he treats.-----my niece seen him last school year, he had her on so much a.d.d medication she didn't sleep for 4 days straight. But other than that,,,I like the man! Luigi

Provided by YP.comIt's a long story but Dr.Varnardo attempted to force me to give my child bi-polar meds ( on top of a couple of other that were having bad side effects ) that thier own head psychaitrist said he did not need. That he was not bi-polar. Because they HAD to have three diagnosis to keep getting paid for a child, and I refused to allow him to lable and medicate my child for something that he did not have, they dropped us. RUDELY & ARROGANTLY! This place is a scam. They pin stuff on a kid to get paid.
