Such a cute little spa! It's smaller than most hotel spas, but the staff are really pleasant and you can get full service massages, hair cuts, blowouts, nails etc.

The only reason for 3 instead of 4 stars is they had me on hold from my hotel room for a really long time, so I had to give up and deal with my bobby pin emergency by myself.

Best feature is the attached gym. There are quite a few machines for a hotel gym, plus a separate weight room and a pool /jacuzzi area. The pool is tiny, but it's perfect bathwater temp and has a resistance setting on half of it so you can swim laps. Walking against it is no big deal, but try swimming, it's a serious cardio workout. So nice to have that option instead of having to do the treadmill.

The bar is the best part

The rooms are small-ish for such a fancy rep, but that's very European, in keeping with the French Quarter.

Went to a wedding here and although the waitstaff were really lagging on wine service (to the wedding tables) in the beginning, they redeemed themselves later. The food was great for wedding food -- filet cooked perfectly, and mashed potatoes with truffle gravy was the unanimous highlight.

The Ritz has quite a nice little spa, gym and small resistance pool plus jacuzzi. Again small, but still very functional and nice. The place is like a maze though -- good luck remembering how to get back to the lobby or over to the Iberville without going outside. It can be done, but it takes practice.

Best thing about the Ritz is the lounge. Perfect lighting and really nice seating areas to have a drink and people watch. It's like a big fancy living room with good drinks and everyone looks good because of the mood lighting.
