Located in New Philadelphia, Ohio, Buckeye Career Center provides educational, training and support services to various students. It offers technical training for high school students and adults. The career center s vocational programs include culinary arts, floriculture, early childhood education, cosmetology, graphic arts, diesel mechanics, automotive technology, and food processing and meat cutting. It also offers various academic programs, including English, American history, government, math and science. The center operates more than 10 satellite programs in Hiland, Garaway, Tuscarawas Valley, Indian Valley, Claymont, Newcomerstown and Carrollton in Ohio. Additionally, the career center hosts senior citizen s luncheons, meetings, home, garden craft and bridal shows, conventions, job fairs, and various sports and band banquets.
