Very professional, nice, caring staff. ive never had an issue. this hospital is a bit smaller but cute

Was there in the ER this afternoon with a n elevated blood pressure considered by AHA as hypertension crisis. I waited from 2:30-7:30 and a I was seen only by triage nurse. I've seen patient taken in with lesser serious condition. I patiently waited because I was informed that I'll be the next to be taken in but somebody else was called. I started to wonder if they know how to determine which is more critical.

AVOID ER here unless you enjoy being bankrupt and stressed out! I went for stitches which were done SEVEN HOURS after I got there, then the PA told me I had "waited too long".They blamed it on being busy. They were when I got there, but not for 7 hours. I had the flu, which caused me to pass out (not uncommon). They ordered CT scans without my having been seen by a Dr. and they think this is medically and ethically appropriate as their "level of care." Saddling people with this kind of obligation with no consultation is not CARE. They wanted me to stay overnight after the COSTLY tests came back clear. I refused. When I inquired about making monthly payments on this ridiculous bill, their outsourced collections picked a percentage sum without asking what I could afford, and told me I would be charged yet ANOTHER $25 "for the use of the service," and 6% interest after 6 months. North Bay is not a hospital; it is a bank. (For ex: $512 for a tetanus shot-$50 at Walgreen. Unreasonable.)

Just went here today.I had ankle surgery about 9 years ago with pins and screws. It has been bothering me very badly the past month. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I was in and out in about an hour, which is unheard of. They took xrays, examined my ankle and referred me to an ortho specialist. The doctor was extremely nice, I would abosolutely go back

I was in this hospital twice for breathing difficulty due to allergies. They were extremely pleasant and the care was excellent. I would recommend this hospital to friends and family.
