Music Matters is awesome! My son has been taking drum lessons there for 2 years! The owners and teachers are wonderful! There are tons of options besides lessons such as camps and RocksCool and also recitals twice a year. We love it!

It was so fun taking guitar lessons at Music Matters that I decided to take violin lessons there, too! The incredible staff is very helpful with questions I have about different instruments and scheduling. The teachers started with me from the beginning with my music background and how to hold both instruments. I find myself smiling when I walk in the door for my lesson and I leave each lesson with a big grin knowing that I've been challenged and have learned something. I can't wait for the camps this summer! Thanks Music Matters!!!

Music Matters Rocks! I've been coming here for a long time and I'm loving it. They have a lot of offer here and many lessons you can take to chose from. They have great deals, so stop on by! I play guitar, bass, and drums. I never knew I would get this far. All the music teachers here and the owners are a pleasure to meet. I am always excited when I come to Music Matters for my lessons because I know I am expecting something great and when I leave to go home, I always leave with a smile.

We have had our two children involved with Music Matters for many years now. They have been involved in piano, voice, guitar, Rock Summer Camp, and year-round Rock Band. The instructors are professional and proficient and show that they truly care not only about the music being learned but about the effect that music has on children's lives. The owners are always willing to accommodate schedule changes when they are able to do so, and they understand when "life happens" and last-minute changes are needed. We are thrilled with the supplemental music education our kids are receiving. The "music celebrations", aka recitals and band concerts, give the kids a chance to learn how to perform, or just how to be, in front of a crowd. They learn stage presence and gain life skills that will serve them well in years to come. Through Music Matters our children are more musically engaged and gaining arts enrichment that will stay with them forever.

My 10-year-old daughter has been taking piano lessons at Music Matters for three months. I have been impressed with how much progress she has made so far and with the professionalism of the staff and teachers. Her teacher, Ms. Alsie, gives weekly feedback about her performance and includes homework exercises for continued practice in between lessons. Music Matters also holds regular recitals where students are provided the opportunity to show off their hard-earned progress (and it gives us parents an opportunity to video tape our budding musicians). :) Additionally, the owner has always been accommodating with any schedule conflicts and, with prior notice, has been very flexible in scheduling make-up sessions.

The private lessons are 30-minutes weekly with an additional 15-20 minute computer activity relating to music theory. The cost is about $25 a lesson ($100 monthly), which I have direct deposited from my checking account at the end of every month. This option makes payments easy.

I would recommend this company to anyone interested in having their child learn to play a musical instrument, with lessons offered for piano, drums, guitar, voice, etc.
