Provided by YP.comI dined here with a party of four adults and one 8 month old lab puppy, and as such we dined alfresco on the patio where there was plenty of share and a lovely sea breeze. Our server Clip was attentive to all our needs including the pup by ensuring that she was well hydrated and comfortable. Two of us ordered the whole-belly fried clams (a New Englander favorite), along with crispy onion rings/fries and my personal favorite: broccoli salad. The clams were, plump, juicy and none of the fried items were the least bit greasy. We both ordered the 8 oz. portion which was a lot of clams. (Next time we will split the order.) The other members of our party ordered the fish and chips and the grilled fish sandwich with a side of fries and Boston baked beans. The entire meal was EXCELLENT and the service was friendly and professional. We enjoyed selecting a bottle of wine from their list and another member of our party was offered sample tastes of the local craft beer. As a Titusville resident, I don't often get to New Symrna Beach very often, but when we do, this is where we eat and it is always superb.

Provided by YP.comThis restaurant was so much better 5 years ago. Fried catfish still good but rest has gone downhill. So many better restaurants in NSB these days.

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I went there back in July. We ordered two different types of Fish. Hers was literally rotten and after one bite she refused to eat any more. My fish was undercooked to the tune of almost being raw. I ate around the edges, but we got a refund on hers. Not a good experience at all. I definitely would not go back or recommend this place.

Provided by YP.comI ate here yesterday and was very happy with my choice. Because of the reviews on here I was hesitant after a friend recommended it. Yes you do order and pay when you enter and are then seated. The service was very fast and the food was excellent. I had the fried Gulf shrimp with fries and the squash medley. Everything was perfect. I left stuffed and will be returning and recommending it to others.

Provided by YPmobileIf you are new to the area don't come here. You are expected to know how the service works. I went into the restaurant and there was nobody to greet you, so, I sat myself. I waited for about 10 minutes and a waitress finally showed up just to tell me that I had to place my order with the cashier at the entrance. I could have done this if there was a person to greet the customers and let them know Joe the service worked. When I saw the line to order I decided to leave instead. I found a much better place down the road. Did I mention this restaurant is by the beach where there's a lot of tourists? This is the perfect way to lose a lot of business from beach tourists. Go to Norwood's Rest instead.

Provided by YP.comI ordered the shrimp salad roll for the first time and was disappointed. The shrimp was very dry and there was barely any mayo on it. Would not order this again. Onion rings were good as always. Service was not so great. Two of the people in my party ordered onion nuggets and got onion rings instead. Salads were brought out with wrong dressings. Drinks were wrong. There seemed to be a lot of confusion over the orders.

Provided by YP.comSecond visit in last 6 months. Fish is still the best we've found anywhere around and we travel over 1 1/2 hours to get here from Leesburg. the other 2 couples with us agree the food is great and the service fast and friendly. We enjoy seeing the same servers and welcomed us each time. We will continue to return to get that down east flavor again!

Provided by YP.comNew owners again! New prices, new policies, mostly new staff. The great service one became acustom to is gone. The staff regulars that are still there have lost thier smile and sparkel. Was one of three tables in the place and had to take my soup back to the counter myself so that I could eat with my out of town guess. Highly disappointing to see one of our favorites become someplace we will not be returning to.

Provided by YPmobileIf you're a New England transplant or here on vacation and want a good meal like they do it back home, this is your place! The only thing better than the food is the service. One peice of advice, try and go at an off meal time or you could be in a line that rivals any at Disney( that should tell you alot).

Provided by YP.comNot sure where these people rating this place one star ate, but it couldn't have been the Boston's we ate at. The food was delicious and served hot. There was a short wait, but the hostess served us free onion rings while in line. We had a party of 11 that they accommodated easily. The food was served quickly and my glass never got empty. The only area I could see that improvements could be made is letting people who are there for the first time know the procedure for ordering and such. Once we figured that out it was smooth sailing. Price was great too. For my part, 2 adults and 3 children, we paid around $60 and I ordered the $23 captains platter. It was so good that we are going back tonight to eat there again!

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I eat at Boston's Fish House in New Smyrna Beach 3-4 times a year. Yesterday was the first time since the place changed owners in September 09. Upon arrival we noticed right away the lack of a line to get inside, when asked the cashier told us it was the first Monday they were open in 14 years and they were under new ownership. This made us a bit nervous but decided to give it a go anyway. As usual my wife ordered the coconut shrimp and I ordered the Captains Platter ($14 and $23) plus a couple of ice teas and a pint of Lobster Bisque ($7.50) to go. My wife's shrimp showed up and the portion was smaller than it used to be as were the shrimp, although she thought it tasted the same. I noticed right away that the Captains Platter was indeed smaller with less fish, shrimp, bellied clams and scallops and there semed to be more onion rings. We ate and it all seemed fine, had great service and it was nice not to feel rushed although there was a small line at the door by the time we were done. We took posession of our lobster bisque together with a couple of doggie bags and left for the drive home to Deltona, FL. As we drove we both commented on the after taste - like old frying oil was used. Half way home my wife beged me to stop so she could use the lu. As I awaited her return I popped a couple of pepcid's and by the time we arrived home we were both suffering. Not being the sharpest tacks in the box we heated up and ate the left overs tonight and sure enough almost immediately after our meal we were happy we live in a two bath home... On a side note - the Lobster Bisque's recipe was obviously changed as we tasted nothing but Sherry - no lobster, just Sherry! Which is a shame as we always relished taking the bisque home and having it the next day with our leftovers. Of course I called - the first person I spoke with acted like I bothered her. I asked to speak with a manager and i could hear her yell out "Hey Steve, some guy wants to complain about his meal." Steve the manager apologized for our experience but advised he didnt work the day before so was unable to comment on what may have gone wrong in the kitchen. In any case what once was a nice day trip from Deltona to New Smyrna with a walk on the beach and a nice seafood meal at Bostons has now become a thing of the past - perhaps someone can recommend another New Smyrna Beach restaurant?

Provided by YP.comThis place is THE BEST! I live in California and I hope they open a place out here. There is only one restaurant near me that serves full belly Ipswich clams. The portion is 1/4 of what you get at Boston's Fish House! The grease is changed regularly here and the food is SUPERB. These are the best Clams I have ever had.... Please open shop out here in Sunny California (Neport Beach, CA)
