The Brown County Humane Society does an excellent job of finding homes for abandoned dogs and cats. The shelter is run entirely by volunteers, so all the money they receive from fundraisers and donations go directly to caring for the animals who are awaiting adoption. They have a number of very dedicated folks who help out providing love and care for the dogs and cats that are waiting for homes.

This is an all around nice shelter! I adopted my dog from here this past summer. She is such a little sweetie! The shelter is not large, but it is well taken care of. You can see that the animals receive alot of love everyday. All of the volunteers that I met were very kind, friendly, patient and caring. They have two fenced in dog areas where I could spend time with my dog...just interacting with her. The volunteers gave quite a bit of advice which was very helpful. I would certainly recommend this shelter to my family and friends, as well as adopt another pet from them in the future.

I adopted my cat from this Humane Society and I really appreciated all of the volunteers help. I felt that if I ever had any questions about my cat I could call them up and they would help me. I am very happy with my cat and I feel that they helped me find a forever friend.

I have no review, I'm just trying to find out where the pets are! that was my review and I'm now reviewing anymore at this time. Unless you really want me to tell you that you have so many pets you want homes for and then you charge an arm and an leg for them when someone does want to adopt one and then you act like it's almost where people think it's easier to just buy a new pet than going through the agony you put them through when you are a loving pet owner.TThere. You wouldn't let me put my first sentence in now you have a lot more words will you submit it now? I guess I would give you five stars since I haven't been able to see a pet yet.
