STAY AWAY FROM A-Z MOVING!



In our initial consultation, the "manager" Kevin told us that A-Z was insured and that our move would be a "flat rate" with no hidden charges. When the movers showed up we were then told that there would be an additional $150 charge to insure our goods against breakage. We obviously opted out of this, as it was not what we had agreed to. The movers proceeded to break the frame of our $800 bed. I was then told to file a claim with the A-Z office. For the next two weeks Kevin ducked my half-dozen calls (work and cell) and two visits to the A-Z office. Our move was a two part arrangement, and only when I refused to pay the balance due at the end of the second move was the mover able to get Kevin on the phone. Kevin agreed to credit us 60 cents per pound for the damaged bed (after initially offering 30 cents per pound) and said that had we paid for the additional insurance there would have been a $1,000 deductible anyway, still leaving us in the same position. So...we got $120 credit (200 lb bed + frame) for our $800 bed.



Obviously, we would NEVER hire A-Z again. Lesson learned and I only hope that this review will warn others to stay away from these hucksters.

No complaints. None. And believe me, when you're moving you are on your last leg of patience, energy and tolerance but I have to say, these guys ruled and gave me no opportunities to complain.



I had furniture to disassemble, things half packed in boxes and bags and then a destination about an hour west of the city. They arrived a half-hour early and finished two hours under the estimated quote. All of my stuff came and went in the same exact condition that it was packed and they efficiently wrapped furniture that I initially had not thought to protect. Also, the level of professionalism and courteousness the entire time was beyond compare.



I've had decent movers in the past, but none as nice, respectful and fun as my team today. (Yes, Vince, Low-Life is my fav New Order album too!) I absolutely hate moving. Thank goodness I went with A-Z!

Terrible! Stay away from A-Z movers. They overcharge and destroy everything they touch. 90% of all the furniture and electronics were destroyed in the move. The movers were 2 hours late and out of the 3 movers only 1 was working. We had all our things destroyed and overcharged double off of the estimated price.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!
