Anna Rundle has worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner and Clinical Coordinator at the Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation at Columbia University Medical Center since 2010. She became the senior NP for the team in 2015. Prior to this position, Anna was a registered nurse for 5 years in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Anna is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2005, and in 2010, she earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Columbia University in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. Over the last decade, Anna has taught new RNs and NPs about liver disease and transplant through mentoring, student preceptorship and lectures for staff nursing and new hires to the program. Additionally she has lectured at Columbia University in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program, and most recently contributed to a textbook on laboratory interpretation for the section on pediatric hepatology. Anna actively participates in the department’s quality assurance and performance improvement program and is involved in research.
