We have a Maytag 30" Electric Wall Convection Oven. It has been a pretty good oven so far. I have been very satisfied with it performance until a couple months ago when I put a chicken in the oven, and an hour later it was burned to a crisp. I checked the settings and that should not have happened. So I called up Appliance Repair New York and set up an appointment. The technician Stanley was a nice guy. He showed up on time and he really seemed to know his stuff. He examined out Oven and discovered that the thermostat needed replaced. He had brought one with him, and before you know it. The oven was working fine. The whole visit cost less than a nice dinner out, so no complaints there. That is what I like about Appliance repair New York, there are no surprises. Their technicians are honest and hardworking, and they never try to tack on extra work to pad the bill. I would recommend them to anybody in need of appliance repair in the New York area.

For the most part I like our Asko Front Load Washer. It has a nice design and it does a good job on the clothes. It runs very quietly. Our old washer and dryer were both loud and inefficient. They were both good machines in their day, but their day had long since gone. So when we purchased a new Asko washer and dryer it was not a moment too soon. The other day my wife was doing a lot of laundry the dashboard started throwing up an F4 error code which meant there was a problem with the water supply. We tried to get Home Depot to send somebody out to look at it, because that is where we purchased it, but they said that we should call Asko. The operator at Asko told me that they could not get a technician out to our house for at least 3 weeks when there was no problem with the water supply. Our family cannot go 3 weeks without a washing machine. So I called New York Appliance Repair. Our superintendent recommended them. He said that most of the repairmen in New York are crooks, but that he knew a couple of the technicians at New York Appliance Repair and that they were honest guys. We called them up and I was surprised they had an opening a couple days later. The technician they sent out Frank was one of the guys that new our superintendent. He inspected the Washer and discovered that the water supply was fine the error code was caused by a faulty dashboard. He gave us a quote and told us he could pick up the part we needed and return within 48 hours. His quote seemed very reasonable so we agreed. Sure enough he showed up 2 days later replaced the dashboard and it has been working fine ever since. We were very happy with the entire experience we had with New York Appliance Repair. Frank was a great guy and he even recommended a very nice Cuban restaurant. Really great experience I would recommend this company to my friends.
