This company is a total sham. I got there after being called in from Careerbuilder for a job after the interview process I asked about the job that I was supposed to be interviewing for and she said that I did not have the experience for it however over the phone this woman lied and said I did this company is full of lies dishonesty and crushed dreams do not I repeat do not under any circumstances go there.

I am highly disappointed in this agency. I recently came across an add that they had listed on Indeed. Contacted them even went to their office to see them in person. I wanted to make sure it was a legit agency. They wanted me to fax over my documentation. I decided to go in person to see if this agency really exists and to meet with the Placement workers face to face. They refused to let me in.

Nonetheless, I tried to give the agency the benefit of the doubt. I showed up on time for the assignment me and other people. When we get bussed to the sight. We were told that they only needed two more workers. We waited for half the day.

Very unprofessional and misleading agency. I would definitely not recommend this agency to anyone. I will never do business with them again.

This place sucks. The jobs they send only pay you minimum wage which in New York city's standards, just enough to put you in the poor house. The recruiter who placed was Hannah Leaf. This woman is a phony. The supervisor from the assignment I was sent to told me on LAST MINUTE NOTICE that the assignment was ending that same day. It was Hannah Leafs job to let me know this ahead of time but she never did. Mind you, i was there for 2 months, only missed ONE DAY and after the assugnment ends, i never hear from her agsin, which to me is a blessing. After that assignment, I was didn't want to deal with them anymore. Their jobs suck, their pay rates are horrible and the people at that agency are unprofessional. If you ask me, Ascend Hire should be out of business.

On top of that, Hannah Leaf looks like she's high on meth or glue. Terrible recruiter and awful agency to work for.

My advice for those looking for work, stay away from this place!

This bogus place which parades around calling itself an agency, is the absolute worst. I've been working with these people for about four months and the assignments that I had lasted only a day or two....per month. I had the unfortunate experience of working with Giana and Jackie, who are both racist, blatant liars and just beyond fake. They both sent me on minimum wage jobs and to the worst assignments ever. Yesterday, I went to the Bronx for a job, which took me four hours, a round trip commute from Queens, only to be told when I got there, that I arrived too late. Then they had the audacity to lie and try to blame me, when they told me it was okay if I got there late. Mind you, they offered the job at the last minute, as always, so I agreed to go and they hired someone else before I got there. And they refuse to compensate me for wasting my precious time. So I am totally done with these unprofessional, incompetent morons. And I will promptly report them to the Better Business Bureau, because they shouldn't be allowed to operate as a business. If I could give no stars, I would. Take it from me, don't bother wasting your time or energy signing up with these lowlifes....you will regret it.
