The Atlantic District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod is a church offering various programs and services for residents of all ages in New York state. Its True Light educational ministry focuses on evangelism and emphasizes on Christian-based learning and has a training center offering training to the mission leaders of the congregation. It also has Chinese, Japanese and Korean ministries and a Russian outreach program. Atlantic District offers special programs and services for people with physical disabilities and of Hispanic origin. It circulates many publications, including the Atlantic District E-Communique that features news, events and highlights, Family Ministry E-Bulletin that is an electronic publication of LCMS district and congregational services and the Crossroads that is the official newsletter of Atlantic District. It is located in Bronxville, N.Y.
