Very modern and chic boutique hotel in the Theatre District consisting of 230 rooms.



The only downside is the rooms are very tiny: the basic room ("Superior") is a measly 190 sq. feet. If you are claustrophobic I definitely recommend upgrading. We got a upgrade and stayed in the "Executive" which was a comfortably sized room. The prices are moderate for what you get.



Even though it's almost right next to Times Square, it's very quiet. There's a great deli and pub right next door too!



The hotel always has a bowl of fresh green apples at the front desk if you want one. It's cause Mela means apple in Italian. I would stay here again.

Loved the Mela Hotel. Clean, close to Times Square and within walking distance of great restaurants and stores.
