I rented a unit managed by Capit Realty (formerly Capmar) for 2 years. They are unprofessional, and I had problems during the two years getting in touch with them. The phone number they provide is a 24-hour answering service and the management company rarely followed up with these messages. Other than that, there is an email address for one of the owners, but she only responded to my emails 50% of the time. I got locked out of my building several times due to the lock being broken on the front door. I made complaints about this broken lock but the management company never fixed it. The residents and I complained after we found strange men in our stairwell drinking/smoking, but the management company still did not fix this lock. In addition, my lease was up at the 30th of the month, and although I had paid for the entire month’s rent, the mgmt company came before I officially moved out and cleared out my belongings and prepared the apt for a new tenant before my lease end date.
