Christopher L. Johnson is a renowned international board-certified plastic surgeon in New York City with over two decades of experience. After graduating at the top of his class from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Johnson received his Masters of Science in Biochemistry from Oxford University in the UK. In addition to his training in General Surgery, Dr. Johnson's cosmetic training were under the auspices of Dr. Norman Schulman at Lenox Hill. Dr. Johnson completed a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School as well another fellowship at The Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, California. This humanitarian surgeon's travels have helped share his surgical gifts around the world including Bermuda, Ecuador, Burundi, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Haiti - performing over 2000 pro-bono cases in these developing poor countries - some even unstable and dangerous. In South America and Africa, Dr. Johnson performed over 100 life and limb-saving surgeries under the most difficult conditions. Dr. Johnson believes that giving back is an obligation; moreover, these reconstructive procedures enhance his understanding of beauty and the structures in the human body.
