My wife and I have been going to CityLight for 2 years now and just feel so comfortable and at home. Pastor Bojan Jancic always delivers such relevant sermons and makes the Bible come to life. CityLight also creates an atmosphere easy to connect with others, not just through a church service but also through small groups, parties, even a coffeehouse they host every month.



There are so many things to highlight at CityLight, but here are just a few:



* Amazing music (The worship team brings it every service!)

* Friendly people (The relationships I've formed are genuine)

* Fun activities (I've gone rafting in the Poconos, and been skydiving in Long Island courtesy of CityLight)

* Freshness (Pastor Bojan Jancic's message is so encouraging and challenging at the same time)

* Expansion (Its great to be part of a church where I find myself growing spiritually)



If you're looking for a church to call home, thats fun to be a part of, to grow in your walk with the Lord or maybe just begin your walk, CityLight is definitely worth a visit.

I came to Citylight Church four years ago since I arrived in New York and I never left since. Maybe its Pastor Bojan's jokes that teeter from riproaring to corny, but always delivered with finesse, or maybe its the plush cushionless plastic chairs . Most importantly, its the sermons and worship.



Every week, Pastor Bojan seeks the face of God weekly for a fresh word for the people and the worship team brings the presence and love of God down in a tangible way. It gives us direction and wisdom for the coming week and helps us to be stable in the crazy New York lifestyle.



The genuine people that go there have become friends and family, it is always a delight to see them and I am still meeting new great people every week. They come from all walks of lives and lifestyles and always have something precious to share. My life has been enriched through the friendships I have developed here.



Finally, the free food at the end of Sunday's service is great but nothing beats the supernatural encounter with God that only a few churches offer. I am so thankful Citylight Church is one of them. It is not spooky but very exciting and powerful.



If you are tired of the confusion that comes from reading the bible, Pastor Bojan will make it very clear to you and I am certain you will see some of the radical happenings you read about in the bible at Citylight Church.

It is so much more than just a "church"; it is a place where you can meet people, build relationships, find inner healing, and fellowship with God. The people here are warm and genuine; they are sincere and love making visitors feel comfortable. Pastor Bojan Jancic is the same; he's easy to talk to, isn't intimidating, and only has words of encouragement. Not to mention that he's also extremely funny and should be a part-time comedian... Aside from having an awesome Pastor and congregation, the music here also rocks! And there's free food after the Sunday night service; who doesn't appreciate free food? Oh, and CityLight is big on fellowship! Every month there is something fun going on...whether it's a picnic in the park, skiing, rafting, or sky diving...I haven't done that yet but maybe this year :)



Anyhow, my point is, I was looking for just a "church" but what I found was a family. It's absolutely great and I want to share it with the world! So come check it out if you are still on the fence...you won't be disappointed !!

We are New Yorkers and we like to eat. Physically and spiritually. Physically, that's easy in NYC. Spiritually, we find it at Citylight Church.



Not only does Citylight redefines church with a welcoming atmosphere & nonjudgmental environment-the teachings there from Pastor Bojan Jancic is relevant to our day to day lives. It is literally food for our souls. And the make-up of the church is like United Nations ranging from every age group. In addition, the kids church does not just babysits the kids, they actually get an age appropriate lesson. Our son loves going there when he doesn't get konked out after rocking to the awesome praise & worship music.



All in all, we find ourselves keep going back to Citylight Church because we feel & see the differences in our lives...and we hunger for more!

I really love CityLight's tagline "Rediscover Life" because it's so true!



In the past 2 years of being a part of the church, I've rediscovered what a joy it is to be in a loving relationship with God. CityLight has helped me to overcome struggles & restore my life through Pastor Bojan's life transforming, biblical teachings and through the annointed worship band each week!



The people at CityLight are genuine, loving, creative & fun. I've made wonderful friends through their group events like picnics at Prospect Park, holiday parties, LifeGroups, and CityLight coffeehouse. It's helped me to build my faith, be in fellowship with other Christians and have fun too!



CityLight Church is the perfect place to begin/continue in your walk with God. As you can see by my rating, I highly recommend it!

What I love about CityLight Church is the sheer joy and excitement that I feel every time I walk through the doors. From the first Sunday I visited I was impressed by the upbeat, contemporary worship and as I came back week after week I was captured by Pastor Bojan Jancic's engaging messages.



There are so many wonderful aspects of CityLight that I simply adore. The people are friendly, non-judgmental, and fun! We get together all the time for picnics and other exciting activities like skiing, white water rafting, and skydiving (that one was especially awesome!) I also love our life groups when you really get a chance to get to know other people in the church. In NYC it so difficult to find people you can be real with, but through life groups I have connected with some truly amazing people who have become great friends.



I was raised in a Christian home, and although I went to church every Sunday I never really understood the true character of God. Since I have been at CityLight I have grown-up so much in my spiritual walk. I now have energy and excitement everyday as I look forward to seeing what God continues to do in my life and in the lives of others!

I first moved to Manhattan from LI to go to grad school. I wanted to find a church where I felt "at home" and I was checking out so many different places. There are TONS of churches all over NYC! Ay yi yi! I got really frustrated. Finally, a friend told me to check out CityLight Church and I have been there ever since. It's been over four years now!



When I first walked into CityLight Church, I was a little nervous because my past experience with churches had been a lot of cliques and small groups and a lot of feeling a little left out and "not belonging." It was so different at CityLight! The minute I walked in, this cute guy :-) walked up to me and introduced himself to me and then introduced me to a bunch of other people too. Everyone was so friendly and warm. I was really taken aback.



The pastor, Bojan Jancic, preached a really great message and showed he really knew the Bible and wasn't pulling stuff out of the air.



Anyway, I've been there ever since. CityLight Church has gotten a lot bigger since I started attending but there's still that warmth and friendliness. There are awesome activities to get involved in that are great for meeting people and getting to know everyone. NYC can be a pretty lonely place so it's great venue for making friends! There are people there from EVERYWHERE--all over the USA and the world, all different ages, backgrounds, etc, etc.



CityLight Church is definitely NOT boring. The music is awesome--drums, guitars, the occasional violin, keyboards, etc, etc. It's powerful too because people are really hungry to get to know God and experience Him.



Something else I really love about CityLight Church is that it's really laid-back and flexible. Everyone worships God in their own way which is awesome. The teaching by Pastor Bojan Jancic is great and really practical and applicable and definitely not "out there."



Just one more thing to add...I happen to be deaf and CityLight has ASL interpeters so it's awesome in that respect too! Hurray!



Anyway, I've gone and written a book. If you're looking for God or just want to have a different "spiritual experience," check out CityLight Church. Very cool.

I've finally found a church where I can be who I am and worship and pray in my own way and not worry about what others think of me. It's been so hard to find a place where I can just belong. CityLight is a God-send.



When I'm at a service in CityLight, all other distractions are removed. I feel as if I'm sitting right there with God, listening to Him speak. The Pastor is an amazing pastor who knows how to make the bible come alive and be more relevent to today's world, which is so important in my opinion. Worshiping at CityLight is so liberating. It has by far one of the best worship teams I've ever heard led by a worship leader who is taken up to the throne room from the moment he begins. All we have to do is join him up there. The music appeals to God of course, but it also appeals to us. Contemporty beats, touching lyrics, passionate delivery.



The people I've met at CityLight have quickly become some of my good friends. It's a young environment filled with loving, non-critical individuals who are zealous for the things of God and the most down to earth people I've ever met in a church setting. They are people you'd meet in your everyday life, become friends with and want to spend time with. Only they're better because they're filled with the Holy Spirit and in love with Jesus.



I can say so much more about this remarkable place of worship but I'll conclude with: CityLight ROCKS!

Coming to CItylight Church was a life saving moment for me. The teachings are Biblical, practical, alive, and memorable. Pastor Bojan Jancic is clear, funny, yet seriously devoted to what he does. Like no one I have seen or heard before, he has this unique capacity to surrender completely to the power of the Holy Spirit. The result is awesome! He brings the Bible to the times we live in, so that I was able to see, for the first time, that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." I leave the church filled with hope, closer to God, and ready to conquer the week that stands before me. I have also learned how to read the Bible in a way that will sustain me day after day, after day. I am no longer alone and afraid in this big city!!!



The music, led by an amazing praise and worship team is phenomenal, uplifting and inviting. The members are friendly, yet unobtrusive. They seemed to be sincerely interested in me, willing and ready to pray for, and with me whenever I have a need. To sum it up, I HAVE FOUND MY HOME IN CITYLIGHT!

CityLight is one of the many awesome finds in new york cityI I really love this church.



Citylight Church i feel is what church was meant to be. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. I have made some great friendships there. The pastor, Bojan Jancic is a genuine & hilarious; he brings engaging bible based messages.



I enjoy Citylight's worship band, the music is off the chain. It is very unique church..to me Citylight Church took the best of all the churches I've been to and took it up a notch..seriously ...amazing music, fun, liberating, diverse, friendly, and vital love fueled messages.

I've found a new home at CityLight Church! The people are GENUINE - something that I have had a hard time finding within the four walls of the church. I'm so greatful for a place that I can call home, especially coming from a small town, living in a big city. I don't feel like it is a church to get lost in. I walk in and people actually remember my name!



The pastor of this church has such a loving heart! He is real family guy! I'm grateful to be a part of this church!
