I was very excited to goto Cleo. I love massages. Get them all the time...and this place was in my building, so I wanted to love it so I could just pop downstairs at any moment.



Never again. Jay was the absolute worst. He hurt me from the first minute doing the massage way too hard. I must have told him 50 times that he was hurting me, and even resorted to "Ow! That hurt!" And he just would NOT do it lighter. It was an hour of pure HELL. Instead of respecting my request for the massage to be lighter, he started lecturing me and popping out with know-it-all comments that made no sense.



Me: "This massage really hurts. Can you do it lighter?"



Jay: "Is this your first massage?"



Me: "No, I get one every Friday."



Jay: "I'm sorry, but this is good for you. It is just like a workout."



Me: "You are really hurting me. Can you do it lighter please?"



Jay: "It's probably going to hurt alot tomorrow too. What would help is if you would stretch more."



Me: "I stretch alot. Ow! You are hurting my left shoulder right now"



Jay: "Oh, I am? Actually, do you wear a really heavy bag on your left side?"



Me: "No."



Jay: "Well, do you cross your right leg over your left leg all the time?"



Me: "No."



Jay: "Well, try to cross your left leg over your right leg sometime. It would really help you."



Me: " "



Thinking: what would really help me is if I could run out of here. But instead I'm almost totally naked and feel unable to argue or run away with almost all of my clothes off.



Then as the cherry on top, at the end of the massage, Jay pulled my right shoulder so hard, that it hurt my neck and shoulder for a whole week. Which really stinks considering I'm 100% healthy and feel good all the time, and had absolutely NO pain anywhere UNTIL I went for my massage at Cleo. Stay AWAY from this place. Or try it at your own peril and you'll know why I'm so appalled.
