Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO) is an Internet publication and a comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs. It publishes a range of scholarship materials that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from nongovernmental organizations, and foundation-funded research projects, as well as excerpts from conferences, books, journals and policy briefs. Columbia International Affairs Online was developed as a collaborative effort between the Columbia University libraries and Columbia University Press with a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The publication is also a widely recognized source for teaching materials written by leading international affairs experts.
