This guy is a quack. Injects patients with toxic chemicals including formaldehyde base on the theories of a discredited quack from the 50'and 60's. Was investigated by state medical misconduct board. Manage to keep his license but his methods have deemed "worthless and dangerous" by FDA AMA NYS health department.

I went to Dr. Teich a Clinical Ecologist aka. "Environmental Medicine" MD regarding an allergy to fumes from permanent magic markers and rubber cement. Forms filled out included a waiver stating Teich was doing "dangerous clinical experiments that could be harmful perhaps fatal". Teich claimed I had a "masked" allergy to formaldehyde stating he couldn’t treat the chemical sensitivity to markers but by treating me with formaldehyde using "provocative neutralization” he claimed my tolerance to markers would be improved. In contrast to the waiver he described the treatment as "absolutely safe” and “formaldehyde was a non-toxic substance". I was injected with tinctures of formaldehyde and given sublingual drops of same. As a result of this treatment I became sensitized to formaldehyde the most ubiquitous chemical pollutant in indoor environments. Allergy blood tests 3 months after ending this "treatment" showed the worst ige (allergy index) subsequent MD's had seen. I reported Teich to the NYS board of Ed. Dept. Med. Misconduct. According to the Investigator he beat the rap by getting the best malpractice attorney in NYC and 100's of the other "Clinical Ecologist" to submit supporting patient treatment histories. The state investigator stated we got a room full of cartons of reports, we sampled them "there all garbage" but in order to prosecute him we would have to evaluate each one and we just don’t have the manpower. He said the head of his department knows Teich and told him "he's a phony". Teich also altered my records to indicate I reported a severe sensitivity to formaldehyde prior to his treatment. Subsequently I found Dr. John Selner MD of Denver Jewish hospital had debunked Teich & his friends for over 20 years using control double blind test to prove the worthlessness of their treatments. It so consistently showed provocative neutralization to be worthless. In response the clinical ecologists refused to supply him with any more patients to test. It appears in an vain effort to be the great man he's endangering some of his patients health.

Dr. Teich was the 4th allergist I went to (the first 3 told me I was cured, and I left their offices bewildered as to why I felt the same way as when I went in years before), and he will be the last. I have had the extraordinary luck to have been his patient for 25 years and, if I outlive him (which might be likely given our age range), I'll muddle along without a new allergist. Dr. Teich could never be replaced; he is one of a kind - the very best kind.
