Provided by YP.comI live a block away from Echelon Cycles and almost every evening I pass the bike just drooling at all the road bike. Since this summer, I've been on the search for a new bike. I'm fairly new to road biking and I've visited many bike shops browsing and inquiring. To my surprise, I found most bike shops dismissive or poorly knowledged in their merchandise. Over the weekend, I went into my neighborhood bike shop for a browse and found the staff very friendly and helpful, further educating me on the various types of frames, components, wheels, and even proper cycling apparel. I could tell the staff all loved the sport and had ample knowledge. I left Echelon Cycles with my new bike and big smile knowing I made the right decision. Thanks for all your help!
Thank You very, very much for your good review and for shopping at our store.

Provided by YP.comI had such a fantastic experience at Echelon last weekend! I stumbled on this cute little store, and I went in to inquire about my tires and bike gear. The staff was extremely informative and helpful. As a woman, sometimes I feel a bit intimidated walking into a sports shop, but Nana made feel very comfortable. She was extremely knowledgeable about their products and very patient. They other guy, too, was very nice. Neither of them pressured me and let me take as much time as I needed to make my decision. I feel very confident about my purchases!
Thank You.

Provided by YPmobileSo I live and work in the west village and wanting to be green decided to buy a bike. I wanted to give my business to the local shop Echelon cycles its on horatio and west 4th.
I walked in and was greeted immediately not only was I given a tutorial on bikes but was refreshed to see the friendly faces I recognize from a older shop I used ( won't mention any names ). I picked up a allegro and I am extremely pleased with it I went back last week and had to deal with the head mechanic or as the shop refers to. ( Dr. ). While he doesn't look friendly at all he was a sweet heart very helpful and took the time to explain to me what I was doing wrong ....... Thanks big guy so 2 thumbs up for the shop best wishes and lots of love
