I cannot praise Eric Originals & Antiques enough. I like antique and vintage jewelry better than modern. After proposing, my fiancee wisely waited to buy the ring until we could shop together. After a thorough web search for interesting antique stores, I made a list of stores to visit when we headed into the city. Eric's topped the list.
The atmosphere when we entered was unlike any jewelry store I've been in, and I've been collecting antique jewelry since I could see over the worktops. Everyone at the store was friendly. The response to our budget was immediate: "Great range! "We'll find you the ideal ring!" put us at rest.
I browsed jewelry on trays. Every tray was full of beautiful rings. Their website, which shows some of their rings and prompted me to add them to our list, is just the beginning of their selection. As I selected some, one of the ladies said, "there is one ring in particular that you NEED to see." She climbs into the window to get this particular ring when I glance up. What a ring. I tried it on and knew it was "the one." Within minutes of browsing through the trays, she knew my style and which ring best reflected it.
Everyone knew their jewelry and stock. Eric came out to greet us and compliment our pick while I was sized. I received the in-house-sized ring yesterday and it's everything I wanted. Our entire experience was great, and they've won lifelong consumers. Going back for our wedding bands excites me.
