In my opinion, this restaurant...

In my opinion, this restaurant is way over priced, given, that it is located in midtown.

There are much better restaurants in the Bronx.

We were VERY disappointed with...

We were VERY disappointed with our visit to Fresco By Scotto's. After hearing the folks at the Today Show play them up we were all hipped up for a wonderful treat - boy, were we wrong. We felt like we were smooshed into a tourist trap. One of the Scotto's was in the dining room to greet some tv personality and his party. Once they were seated there was no more presence of the Scotto's. There was no privacy as I could have touched the table next to me without a fully outstretched arm. You couldn't help but hear their low volume conversation. The menu was also disappointing. Once we finally found something we would eat it came to us improperly cooked - same thing happened to the people on both sides of us. We ended up leaving before the entree - 2 glasses of wine and 2 appetizers were $86 plus tip. I had to slide my table into the next one to squeeze out to leave.
