I recently had no video display on my monitor, the guy from Geek Choice showed up and he absolutley no clue what to do or look for?

He wasnt even in the house for 5 min before he started calling in to his help desk.

I was expecting a full diagnostic and the man showed up with nothing.

I even had to lend him some of my tools.

You would think one of the first things a professional would check is to see if the Motherboard is working properly, you do this by taking out all the RAM and turning on the PC to llisten for beep codes, I even knew that.

He never even suggested that, I had to tell him

Do not use this company, nothing was solved or fixed and they charged me 150.00

we have been a resident of beacon hill for over 43 years now, and i just recently stumbled upon Geek Choice. I stopped in spoke with a technician and he gave me some advice, and i brought my laptop in the next day to have it cleaned up, they were fast, and very courteous and I just think they are wonderful

I received an I Pod touch for my birthday but didn’t know how to download songs onto the ipod. I called Geek Choice and they came right out and gave me a tutorial on how to download songs onto my ipod and computer. They were very helpful and professional.

My daughter was visiting us from out of town and she brought her laptop with her. She wasn’t able to connect to our internet so I called Geek Choice and they came out and added her to our network so that she was able to use her laptop freely around the house. I can always depend Geek Choice for all of my computer and electronic needs.

I’m surprised by how friendly they were. It was like having a long lost friend over, who knew how to clean spyware and taught me how it got there.

When I turned my computer on my icons were missing from my desktop. I suspected an infection on my pc so I gave the geeks a call. Geek Choice is the best choice for onsite computer repair. I loved the Technician and the service that he performed while onsite. Their rates are very affordable and all of their Technicians are A+ Certified and usually can guarantee same day service. So for your choice of computer repair Geek Choice is the best choice.

I was moving into a new home and needed a professional to come out and pack up my computer and printer etc. Geek Choice sent out a technician to my home and he packed everything up and labeled it for me. After we were in the new place he came back out and unpacked the equipment and set everything back up with no problems.

I spilled some wine onto my laptop. The keyboard was a little sticky and some of the letters were sticking as well. I called Geek Choice and they came out and removed the keyboard with the tools they carry with them and was able to remove the liquid. My laptop is up and running thanks to Geek Choice.

Did you notice that most of the 5 stars rating came from people with very low computer technical knowledge who are very happy that they came to their places super fast? And here in YP, most of the adds (only the good ones of course) are repeated two and three times???



My experience: in summary, if you need somebody to run an antivirus or clean your system a little bit, you may be safe. If you think that's worth 100 bucks per hour.



They do have good technicians. At least one. The one who came to help me the second time and in a matter of minutes diagnosed a faulty hard disk did know what he was doing. He charged $75, but he found the issue with my PC.



However, if you are unlucky, may end up with someone like the one who came the first time... removed something here, delete this, clean that, try to work around something without attacking the root of the issue. Never was able to find an issue with my hard drive (which the other guy found immediately), charged me $100 and did not fix my PC.



The worst part? When I called Geek Choice about it they said they would give me a $100 credit for future services. Hey but what if I do not want any further services from you? Well, though luck, the first guy did help speeding up a bit your PC.... but he did not fix it! well he fixed it a little bit, so it's gotta be worth 100 bucks... no, even the second technician said that he didn't really do anything... well that's our final decision, if you don't like it you are free to write a complaint.

GEEKS CHOICE DOES NOT PAY TECHS THAT CONTRACT WORK FROM THEM. ALL TECHNICIANS DO NOT DO WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM YOU WILL BE CHEATED AND YOU WILL LOSE MONEY IF YOU ACCEPT ANY WORK FROM THEM FOR THEY DO NOT LIKE TO PAY. MATT WILL IGNORE YOUR EMAILS AND VOICE MESSAGES AND OTHERS WITH HANG UP ON YOU. TECHNICIANS BEWARE!!!!!!!!

No matter what is wrong with your computer-they can have it fixed within an afternoon! LOVE THEM!

They are seriously the best at what they do, wouldn't trust my computer with anyone else.

I never heard of you guys before last night. It was the first time I ever found myself stumped by a problem on my computer. But your tech was superb and I will definitely recommend Geek Choice to my friends.

I am always hesitant to let strangers into my home, but I needed someone to fix my computer. The Geeks on Alert tech was pleasant and helpful, and I didn’t feel uncomfortable as he worked on my computer. He’s welcome in this house anytime.

If Geek Choice technicians are as courteous and knowledgeable as Tim, I will definitely keep them in mind when we encounter any additional problems. He not only demonstrated technical expertise, but he had a pleasant way about him that left us at ease while he worked on the computer.

The technician was there on time and fixed my problem in no time at all

No complaints, the service was excellent. My computer works like new!

A Geek was at my home within 2 hours of me calling to book an appointment. They setup my new Dell XPS and even showed me how to use Vista. Highly recommended, very personable and honest. I'll definitely be using them again.
