HORROR!!!My Beatiful Lizzie was victim of a groomers negligence at that place who refuses to take any responsibility for their actions. So i think that you all need to know what can happen to your best friend. Groomingdales Pet salon On East 82 street was recommended to me and i took my maltese for the first time. I went to her up up and find my service dog stuck in the corner with a mob of the dogs all on top of each other crammed in in already tiny space with owner vacuuming at the same time. When I lifted my dog she screamed in pain... I thought i hut her leg by accident . Boy was i wrong. Same evening i discovered huge bruise on her back. I called the owner and got explanation that "due to brushing my Lizzie was blue since they pull her hair "a little to hard". Now i do blame myself for not taking her to her vet immediately but i was reassured that she is" white older dog and that do happen sometimes". Two weeks later Lizzie was on operating table due to horrific infection . Noone is willing to take responsibility or do the right thing. Noone from that salon wanted to tell the truth and prevent this infection. So you tell me what do you think what is right to do in this case? I am happy that Lizzie pulled trough thanks to University Animal Hospital. But she is still in a lot pain. No dog deserves this.
