Absolutely fantastic service and quality! Dave, Scott and Christopher were so careful, efficient and friendly movers. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were hard-working and helpful movers. Would recommend a hundred times over! Definitely, they deserve overall excellent first class rating.

I recently moved from NJ to Ga. I contacted several moving companies when I met with Steven Z******* at Ideal I knew this was the company to go with. He explained everything in detail answered all of my questions. He walked me thru the entire process from start to finish, and gave me a great price as well. The truck and the workers came on time and they were very courteous they did a great job packing and loading the truck. They stored my belongings for three weeks since my closing on my new house was not the next day. When it came to delivery day all my stuff arrived in perfect condition. I put complete trust in Steven and everything went as smooth as he promised it would be. I would highly recommend this company and Steven Z*******.

I’m proud and happy to say that everything about my move went very smoothly, the office staff and the movers were all professional, From the initial phone call by Sean the salesman to packing of our household items and to the final delivery, there were no surprises or hidden fees. They gave us a great service for the price. All of our furniture were properly placed and accounted for, nothing has been broken (which is rare for me). Ideal Moving really maintains a high standard of operation and by the way the crew leader Allen was fantastic and polite and my wife…aww lord, she was really nagging him from start to end and let me tell you… it’s not easy to make my wife happy and they did so…needless to say we will highly recommend Ideal Moving & Storage to everyone who needs to move and would definitely use them again on our next move.

The two movers who provided service for me were beyond excellent. I had multiple workers in my home simultaneously and they were able to take general direction and work independently. I have seldom had service providers who had both such a great work ethic and a fabulous attitude. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They made a difficult day much better, and I will use Ideal moving again at my first opportunity. FABULOUS!

These 2 gentlemen were the absolute dream movers. They were fast, efficient, extremely polite and professional. They took the best care of my furniture and items and i am so amazed how very strong they each were. They could move my heavy(and I mean all of my furniture was large and heavy) each alone without requiring each other's help on almost all my pieces. I apologize for my heavy safe they had to move but they handled it extremely well. My brother and I really enjoyed their being there even though they were so busy and working the whole time. They made us both fell so comfortable and confident they were taking care of us. That is what Customer Service is all about! You really should do all you can to hang onto these 2 men!!

Ideal Moving was great!! My mom was busy at her new place so it was up to me to pack & move her house. I'm disabled and can't lift or carry more than a few pounds. A friend of mine recommended them because she had used them a year ago and was really happy with everything. I'm glad I took her advice. It was a holiday weekend and they were still easily accessible. I communicated with them via email & phone, which was really convenient. The guys that came were very friendly and polite. They were efficient and overall I am extremely pleased with their service. I will not hesitate to call them again & I will definitely recommend Ideal Moving to everyone I know. Thank you very much! I loved being able to talk thru the process over the phone. It was very well explained how and what was needed. They also went over the cost and options to make me comfortable about what I needed to pay for. I had to call back a few times for questions and they always answered the phone. They also called me to confirm the appointment as well as what I needed. They seemed genuinely concerned that they get my move right and that they show up with what we needed. They did exactly as promised. They were courteous and friendly.

they did horrible job when i moved from NJ to Fl i didn't get my stuff on time they said they going to pick up from NJ may 1st i will get on May 7TH i received on May 15th my all bed room Furniture got broken and they lost my 2 boxes they suppose to put together my mom bed they didn't after 1 month they came n put my mom bed together i try to contact them they never call me back. salesman Nathan never call me back. they are very unprofessional while i was inquiring regarding my mover the guy was cursing on me and they steal can't find my 2 boxes i lost in 2 boxes Around $ 5500 stuff and it;s very good memory regarding my both daughters marriage.so my suggestion don't go for this moving company.

Ideal Moving Company should be the benchmark for all moving companies in NY. From day one and continuing throughout the process to the final move day, Ideal not only met but exceeded their mark in the areas of their trade, speed, professionalism, communication and pro-activity (just to name a few). To top it all off, they were friendly and repeatedly went above and beyond, at times even dealing with multiple rounds of phone tag (I am not the easiest person to track down).. Their persistence showed me that they were passionate about what they do, and committed to the happiness of their client. We were very lucky to have such a hardworking, professional team carry out this very important move for us. They truly are the perfect mix of brains and brauns.



I found Ideal and a handful of other NY moving companies through a simple google search. Through a weeding out process based on the best bang for our buck, I decided that Ideal was #1 in terms of quality of service and affordability. It wasnt until after I got off the phone with Jackie, Office Manager of Ideal Moving, that I knew for certain that Ideal was 100% the right mover for us. Jackie was attentive to every last detail of the move; she worked with us on pricing and even coordinated to have boxes delivered to the apartment for the move. In the beginning of the process we also changed the move-date on Jackie a couple times. But every time she was very understanding and accommodated our wishes. I am sure she worked a couple of miracles behind the scenes that we never knew about. She also helped coordinate the move with the two building co-ops, who are notorious for their short moving-window hours and strict rules; which went absolutely seamlessly. On the back end, after moving day, she also worked with us to be sure that all of our needs were met, which I thought was a fabulous touch. I assured her that they were and that we would absolutely be using Ideal for our next move.



When moving day was upon us, the movers showed up right on time and got to work immediately, following all instructions set forth by the co-op moving rules. They worked hard, and were very meticulous and polite with every item, big and small. If they had questions, they asked, and then got right back to work. It was a big move, and it took the whole day- but they worked seamlessly and by the looks of it, although I am no expert, they used every minute as efficiently as they could- I know I couldnt have asked for a better outcome.



Moving in NY is a challenge, period- but Ideal took away so much of the anxiety involved, which made my moving day a day that I could actually enjoy. The next time, I will actually look forward to my next move. Thank you so much Ideal!

This company is a terrible company. They first promise you that your items will be reached at some destination on some specific date. After you place an order and pay for the deposit, your items will not be reached the destination on that specific date. When you call them, they will give you many excuse. I recently has such moving experience with this company. It is very terrible. Without my stuff including mattress, I have to stay at hotel and waste my money.

I have moved up and down the east coast multiple times.



After my first move from Miami to New York City, during which I used movers, I was very disappointed with the whole industry. I therefore moved from SC to FL myself with multiple U-Haul Trailers. This was a very tiresome and long experience.



My most recent move was from New York City to Atlanta and I went with Ideal Moving & Storage Inc.



Admittedly, I was sceptical at first; however the entire experience has been very eye opening and positive.



Their quote over the phone was only a couple of hundred pounds off (probably due to the fact that I have a ridiculous amount of heavy texts). I dealt directly with JC and she was at all-time extremely professional, helpful and available.



The Pickup (Fri): Feb 18th 2011



The three man team was late by only 20 minutes but they made up the time in loading everything carefully and efficiently. The team was courteous and willing to help pack the last few items.



The team leader contacted the delivery driver directly in front of me to confirm the date of delivery Feb 22nd 2011



En route (Sunday): Feb 20th 2011



I received a phone call directly from the driver stating that he would be there on Tus afternoon between 1pm and 2pm. He told me that the balance would have to be paid in terms of money order or cash. However, I had already discussed using a Cashier's Check with the office previously.



Again, not a problem. She called the driver and it was all taken care of.



Delivery (Tue): Feb 22nd 2011



At noon, the driver contacted me that he was an hour away.



All items were delivered carefully and efficiently.



I have just finished unpacking and so far I do not see ANY thing damaged. Quite impressive.



I did have to pay an additional Long Carry charge on delivery. However, once I saw the distance we had to walk from the elevator, I would have charged myself that!



Overall:



Extremely professional moving company for a reasonable rate.



I will likely be moving again in two years and hope that they are still around. I have already recommended four other people to use their services.
