Provided by YP.comWould give zero stars if that was possible. Let me bullet it out for you:
- Awful equipment that was old, did not work and ruined an event I had spent $3,000 on
- Worst customer service I have come across in NYC
- Gene, the owner, is a liar and a thief
- I will never, ever do business with them again and I encourage all of you to stay away.
The previous review is accurate. Gene cannot be bothered to help you. He will misrepresent the truth. And despite the fact that you are his customer, you are nothing but a pain in the rear for him.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! They are awful and cannot be trusted.

Provided by YP.comMy wedding planner referred me to Interactive Vision Solutions in order to rent a projector and screen for use at my rehearsal dinner. She spoke to Gene, was quoted a certain amount, and informed Gene that I would be calling him to book the projector and screen. When I spoke to Gene, he refused to give me the rate that he told my wedding planner, so I had my wedding planner call him back to arrange the contract. I suppose my negotiation skills weren't as great as hers, but I certainly don't think renting equipment should come down to negotiation. On the signed contract, I indicated that my wedding planner would be picking up the equipment the day before the rehearsal dinner, since, being the bride, I was extremely busy the day before. She went to Interactive Vision Solutions, and was not able to get into the building. She tried reaching Gene at the number provided, and tried calling the reception desk, but to no avail. A little while later, I received a call from Gene, and he asked if I could come get the equipment because my wedding planner was "driving him crazy over the stupid projector." This behavior from a service provider is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. I told him that he had to deal with it, because I was too busy to pick it up myself. He said he could deliver the projector to me (not my wedding planner) for "$40 or $45... yes, $45." I never authorized this charge, nor did the projector ever get delivered to me, but Interactive Vision Solutions used my credit card information from when I had originally reserved the projector to charge me the delivery fee. I am in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company, which I have no doubt will go in my favor, since Interactive Vision Solutions has no evidence that they delivered the projector to me, and no evidence that I authorized the charge. I would strongly recommend going with another vendor for your equipment needs, as this company is unethical and a true hassle to work with.
