I provide a safe, nonjudgmental and nurturing environment in which the client is able to better understand who they are, what has brought them to this point in their life, and where they would like to see themselves in the future. I am a caring; honest, empathetic therapist who can be serious, but still has a sense of humor. Feeling able to connect and communicate is the foundation of any relationship. The need to feel heard and understood is universal to everyone. The relationship between the client and the therapist is a very unique one. I believe that the therapeutic process is a collaborative one in which the client and the therapist both take active roles. Over the years I have worked with individuals from many cultural backgrounds, and have addressed a wide variety of issues with my clients.
