Celebrating 79 years in business! The Samuel Kolstein Violin Shop was founded by Samuel Kolstein in 1943 as a Violin and Bow-making establishment. We sell, rent, appraise, restore, build, consign, string musical instruments and bows. Specifically Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass. We also manufacture and sell string instrument accessories. The Kolstein Center (near Carnegie Hall) is the Kolstein's shop second location with the main headquarters and chief restoration space located in Baldwin, Long Island.
