This frees us to focus on preparing customized wealth management solutions to better serve each of our clients’ unique needs and wants (much like a personal/private chef does). This is different than what captive agents or affiliated broker-dealers do: offering the same-old sameold, viz., products/services of their related carrier(s), which they are incentivized and/or limited to do (much like a franchise fast-food restaurant does), by tweaking them to “fit” clients’ needs and wants.
