Provided by YP.comI am not one to write a review- this is my first. But my experience was THAT DISAPPOINTING, that I wanted to help others avoid having to go through such a mess. As is not totally uncommon for doctor's offices, I waited for over an hour until I was called into a room, to then wait another 30 minutes. Then the doctor blew in, talking very fast, so much that I was caught off guard enough to forget to ask the questions I'd come to ask. She blew in and out of the room in less than 2 minutes, leaving me (even with the best insurance) a $400 bill... the bill I was sent listed 5 charges without any description... I of course figured out that every time I said "yes" to the doctor, (ex. "would you like me to do such-and-such to make your acne better", then pocking it with something) I was charged $100 for whatever "procedure" she would then perform. When I called the office- after seeing the bill- to share my concern, I was told they weren't trying to rip me off... I just wish there had better communication so that I'd have been made aware that I was being charged a lot of money. The woman on the phone said, well she understands its hard for a student to pay... um, I'm not a student... And I am quite sure most people, student or not, would not be open to spending $400 on a dermatologist trip to have a mole checked. When I received my bill via email, I responded that I was very disappointed with my experience at their office, that I was unsure what the unidentified charges were, and that I'd like to speak with someone. Soon after I received another email from them simply saying they had charged the credit card on file. I was furious.
Allison Santhouse was the name of the doctor who blew in and out in under 2 minutes. If you want "care", I suggest you go somewhere else.
