As part of their active and healthful lifestyle, John and Gigi have sampled almost every energy bar on the market. The healthy ones lacked taste, the tasty ones lacked nutritional integrity, and the sport/high protein bars had too much sugar that led to a spike and crash. So, chef John headed to the kitchen, determined to make an energy bar/snack that was tasty, nutritious and offered a long lasting energy, and so, Mehret Bar was born!
