Dr Goodman strives to employ conservative, natural, and where possible holistic techniques to conserve tooth structure as well as whole, natural teeth. If tooth replacement is necessary, he strives to do so in the most natural, biological, aesthetic way....using only the finest laboratories available. General, preventive, as well as pediatric and geriatric care are offered as well! The Practice: On the initial visit, digital x-rays are taken with minimal exposure and high-tech software is used to analyze them. A prophylaxis (thorough cleaning) is done before an extensive exam. (Fluoride is recommended to avoid sensitivity, decay, and future plaque buildup.) The results are discussed thoroughly as well, hoping to reach the best plan acceptable to the patient if treatment is necessary If the patient is insured, the forms are submitted immediately to determine the company's obligation. Future appointments are given if necessary, as well as referrals for top specialists where necessary.. Financial considerations are then discussed. If complex treatment is necessary, the plan is well documented in writing and mailed for the patient's analysis) . Dr Goodman runs "on time" and asks patients to do so as well since the time is reserved. We ask for 24 hour notice if the patient needs to postpone or cancel the appointment.
