You walk into this seemingly tiny, shoe-box sized hardware store and might think, How am I going to find what I need in this puny space? Alas, all you have to do is ask the store owner. His name alludes my memory, yet you will know him by his friendly attitude and smile. His smile lights up Harlem and the service and rapport he gives are both friendly and wonderful. After a few visits to his store I found out that he moved here from Africa because of the opportunity that America gives. We forget that sometimes. But he is truly living the dream. He owns his own business and does what he does very well. Greet customers, gets them what they need, rings them up, and sends them on their way. All the while with a great big smile on his face.
