The Americas comprise one of three major global regions of MUFG, the others being Asia & Oceania and Europe/the Middle East/Africa (EMEA). Originally serving Japanese-owned companies doing business in the Americas, we maintain a very strong business with this customer base through regional offices from Canada to Chile, but also count among our clients many other national and international corporations. The backbone and the sustainability of any company is its customers. Building long-lasting relationships with our customers is what MUFG around the globe does better than most. Addressing our customers' needs and expectations, even anticipating the trends and long-term requirements are all part of putting the customer first. Across the Americas, we have eight businesses.
