Provided by YPmobileI made an appointment for physical therapy on 4/18/15 @ the Performing Arts physical Therapy Center. Before I got to the location I called the facility twice that morning no one answered.
When I got there the receptionist at the desk was with a patient and then I was able to approach her.
First I said was good afternoon I have an appointment for physical therapy. She said " what's your name I told her Cathy -Ann as I reached into my purse to get my insurance card. Then she asked again and I gave her my full name. She said you have an appointment? I said yes. Then she said oh we cancel your appointment, we called you several times and you didn't respond. Its almost like she didn't give me a chance to speak. Because she just dismissed me by saying we called you & you didn't respond.
First of all her tone was not welcoming! According to my phone records they made 2 phone calls 4/16 & 4/17 and they left no messages. I called back 2 on 4/16/ 15 & 2 on 4/18/15. My phone # is private so you would never see a # show up when I call no one answered. I was on work when they called me and I called them back during my lunch hour no one picked up. So for them so cancel my appointment with out any confirmation was disappointing. And then when the receptionist said they cancel my appointment and she kept speaking it felt useless to even try to explain anything to her because she was not welcoming.
I just left my wallet in my bag and walked to the elevator. The elevator came I got on and then I pressed 1 by that time she got up from behind the desk and approached the elevator and she said would you like to reschedule the door close.
Very disappointed at the level of professionalism and service. I work in retail and its difficult to get an appointment much less for them to cancel my appointment on my day off. I commuted to the city and it was just a waste of my time to go to the center after waiting so long to get a day off and get an appointment. I work in retail and customer service is vital in driving any type of business. This was my first time going there and I was not impressed by the receptionist at the front desk. She going to cause you to lose customers.
Cathy.
