P.S. 019 Asher Levy is a learning center that has an annual enrollment of more than 450 students in prekindergarten through grade six. It has educational and business alliances with The Chase Educational Foundation, Holland & Knight, Learning Leaders, America Reads, Third Street Music School, Teachers and Writers Collaborative, Plan for Social Excellence and Lower East Side Print Shop. P.S. 019 Asher Levy offers several special academic programs, such as peer tutorial academic intervention, open access library and art enrichment. The school maintains a basketball team, as well as after-school art and dance clubs. P.S. 019 Asher Levy is affiliated with The New York City Department of Education.
