Public School 84 provides educational services to more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school maintains a staff of regular classroom teachers, learning specialists and instructional assistants. It offers educational programs in reading, music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, health and physical education, business and creative writing. Public School 84 organizes various athletic activities that include football, basketball, volleyball, cross-country, and track and field. In addition, the school has a library media center that provides a large section of reference books, archives, biographies, databases, encyclopedias, online dictionaries, newspapers and magazines. Public School 84 is a part of the New York City Department of Education, which services more than 32,000 students.
