I don't want anyone to make the same mistake I did, so I am reviewing Roslyn. She has beautiful things in her store, especially engagement rings. After years of contemplating, I finally decided to go for it and change my engagement ring setting to something in her showcase.



She quoted me one price which sounded reasonable, so I put a deposit and waited.. and waited for months. It was supposed to take only a few weeks to make, but I had to literally stalk and hound her to get the ring 3 months later. When I finally got it, I had to pay in full before seeing it since it needed to be picked up from the jeweler, by me, alone. And guess what, the price increased significantly as well so I had to pay the difference. Good thing I refused to pay more until I saw the actual ring. IT was a horrible knockoff that only vaguely resembled the ring in her store. The diamonds used were much smaller and there were fewer of them, and the setting was actually quite ugly - it was a bad homemade job. When I demanded for it to be remade or be given a refund, she gave me the worst time about it. Acted like I was being a crazy and unreasonable customer. Even tried to tell me that my ring was 'more beautiful' than the ring in her store. She finally agreed, but said the sample ring sold so I wouldnt' be able to see it anymore, which was a lie - it's still actually in the store window today over a year later. The ring had to be remade twice, each time the burden was on me to go to the jeweler multiple times to consult on it. Finally the third ring I got was an acceptable replica.. but a stone fell out two weeks after I got it.



Roslyn is a dishonest and unfair businesswoman. On top of that she is pushy and rude and tries to get out of her part of the deal by blaming the customer or the jeweler. Please spend your money somewhere else, there is a wonderful store called Artiste Jewelers a few blocks down on columbus where they are very nice and helpful.
