Very disappointing customer service. Never pick up the phone, never return voice messages, don't reply to emails and, when they do, it's just to stall you. I've been waiting for two months for someone to get back to me. I had no heat in the apartment for around 20 days in the coldest days of December. First, it was a problem with the boiler, and no one notified us until people started complaining and asking questions. When the boiler was finally fixed I still had no heat. Weeks later, the leak in my radiator was fixed, no thanks to this company but to my super, who finally believed my problem was real. I paid a full month of rent in December to spend 20 days at 50-60 degrees. I'm not giving up, I want part of the money back. Shameful unresponsive people.

Run, run while you can. The stress of dealing with them is not worth their rates. Most unethical company I've ever come in contact with. Went for years with on and off heat and hot water. During snow storms, freezing temperatures etc. There was also some ridiculous excuse as to why our heat and hot water went out. (You can check the list of violations on 311.com, its pretty insane!) The building finally banded together to make sure they upheld their duties and ensure the heat would be on for the winter season, and what did Eric Margules do? He raised our rents 90% just for doing what we legally had the right to do the entire time. Slum lords. stay far, far away.
