You're always guaranteed to see a play or musical at Second Stage that is daring, off-beat and engaging. I've seen many of their shows over the last few years. A few have moved to Broadway ("The Little Dog Laughed", "Metamorphoses", "...Spelling Bee"). They tend to focus on presenting great playwrights (as opposed to plays with celebrities in them). I highly recommend a trip there if you're in town (or live here!)
