My poor 74 yr old mom has waited over 10 years to get in this place so that she can be close to me as she is getting on in years and lives all alone in the Bronx. She is Puerto Rican and can hold a limited conversation in English but cannot read it really well. This last form was much more complicated but she filled it out by herslef being independent as she is and sent it. Unfortunately her error in omitting some info cost her dearly as her application was disqualified and tossed. I cant believe this is a Christian home. The exec director did not want to hear any explaination. She made a mistake, too bad your OUT!!!! How CALLOUS and CRUEL. If this is how the Federal Govenment takes care of its seniors, GOD HELP US.
